Não consigo me imaginar de forma alguma minha vida sem a ilustração, sem a arte e principalmente, sem o hábito da prática do sketch. Vejo o sketch como uma ferramenta poderosíssima para todos os artistas; independentemente da especialidade escolhida como animação, ilustrações, comics e arquitetura por exemplo.
O sketchbook vai muito além de uma coleção de desenhos, ele representa o dia a dia do artista, pessoas a seu redor, cidades, países, monumentos etc. Enfim representa toda uma vida!
Hoje, com 25 anos de profissão, onde pude durante todo este tempo ter a oportunidade de participar e realizar projetos desde grafites artísticos, ilustração para livros infantis, animações para comerciais para TV, muitos projetos ligados para web como games e HQ’s, mas, nada me deixa mais entusiasmado e fascinado do que estar com meu sketchbook praticando. Quem é adepto do sketch sabe que nunca se está sozinho quando vc está com uma página em branco e uma caneta nas mãos.
Espero compartilhar um pouco deste meu dia a dia, das pessoas ao meu redor e juntos trocarmos nossas experiências e continuarmos em pleno crescimento artístico!

I can’t imagine myself and my life without illustration, fine art and mainly not having the habit of sketching! I feel tat having a sketchbook handy is a powerful tool for all kinds of artists regardless their expertise, whether they are illustrators, animators, comix and architects, for example.
The artist sketchbook goes beyond a collection of drawings, it represents the artists' everyday life, the people around him, cities, countries, monuments, etc. It represents the whole life of the artist.
Today, after 25 years working as an artist, having had the opportunity to develop projects like graffiti, animations for TV, books for children, web games and comix, nothing makes me more excited and fascinated than practicing on my sketchbook! Those who are sketchbook fans know that you are never alone as long as you have a blank page and pen in hand.
